    Take a Stand
    Exhibition of photographs by Palestinian students

    Following the January 2007 launch at Foyles' landmark Charing Cross bookshop, the exhibition has toured universities, churches and events throughout the UK, including London, Sheffield, York, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Edinburgh and Bristol.

    As well as capturing the major obstacles to pursuing an education in occupied Palestine, the photographs by Birzeit and An-Najah University students touch on themes as diverse as isolation, poverty, resistance, absent classmates, military barriers, student prisoners and determination.

    Contact FoBZU to host the exhibition in 2008. An accompanying book of photographs is available from FoBZU for �12 (including P&P)
